1981 Fragrance Monthly Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This competition is promoted by 1981 Fragrance Ltd.

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
• Employees of 1981 Fragrance Ltd and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
• Only one entry per person is permitted.
• Entrants must have an active subscription to 1981 Fragrance marketing emails at the time of the monthly draw.

3. Competition Period

• This is an ongoing monthly competition.
• One prize draw will take place on the first Monday of every calendar month.
• Eligible subscribers will remain entered into future monthly draws unless they unsubscribe from 1981 Fragrance marketing emails.
• Entries received after a monthly draw has taken place will be included in the following month’s draw.
• 1981 Fragrance reserves the right to end the ongoing competition by providing reasonable notice on its website or through its marketing communications.

4. How to Enter

• To enter, participants must complete the competition entry form on the 1981 Fragrance website and subscribe to marketing emails from 1981 Fragrance.
• No purchase is necessary to enter.
• Entry is free.
• Submitting multiple entries will not increase a participant’s chances of winning.

5. Prize

• One winner each month will receive one 100ml fragrance from the 1981 Fragrance collection.
• The winner may choose their preferred fragrance, subject to availability.
• The approximate retail value of the prize is £85.
• No cash alternative is available.
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.
• 1981 Fragrance reserves the right to offer a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

6. Winner Selection

• One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries on the first Monday of each month.
• The winner will be contacted using the email address provided when entering.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring that the email address supplied is accurate and accessible.
• With the winner’s permission, their first name and surname initial may be announced on the 1981 Fragrance Instagram Stories.
• Permission to share a winner’s name is not required in order to receive the prize.

7. Claiming the Prize

• The winner must respond within 14 days of being contacted.
• If the winner does not respond within 14 days, 1981 Fragrance reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
• 1981 Fragrance may require proof of age, identity, residency, or other eligibility before awarding the prize.
• The winner may be required to provide a valid United Kingdom delivery address.

8. Marketing Communications

• By entering the competition, participants agree to receive marketing communications from 1981 Fragrance.
• Participants may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails.
• Unsubscribing will remove the participant from future monthly competition draws.
• A participant may enter again by resubscribing and completing the competition entry form.

9. Data Protection

• Personal information submitted as part of the competition will be processed in accordance with the 1981 Fragrance Privacy Policy.
• Personal information will be used to administer the competition and, where consent has been provided, to send marketing communications.
• Winner details will only be shared publicly with the winner’s permission.

10. General

• 1981 Fragrance reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
• 1981 Fragrance accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, or not received due to technical problems.
• The promoter’s decision regarding all aspects of the competition is final.
• By entering, participants are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
