Thank you to every stockist who chose to put 1981 on their shelves. Supporting an independent fragrance brand takes belief, trust and a shared love of doing things properly. We don’t take that lightly, and we never will.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased a 1981 fragrance, taken the time to write a review, sent us a message, tagged us on social media, or told a friend. Seeing - and hearing - our fragrances out in the world is, and will always be, completely mental. In the very best way.

We’ve been quietly working on this brand for years. Launching in August was a moment we’ll never forget, and everything that’s followed has only reinforced why we started in the first place: to create fragrance that feels human, considered and genuinely fun.

Looking ahead, 2026 is shaping up to be exciting, with more in-store events, new stockists, new territories around the globe, more competitions, more conversations, and ultimately... more fun!

Because we truly believe fragrance should be enjoyed, played with, talked about, and lived in.
